State-of-the-art medical facilities will be built in the capital between 2026 and 2028. These include a new treatment and diagnostic complex at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Care, a pediatric neurorehabilitation and orthopedics center at the St. Vladimir Children’s City Clinical Hospital, a multidisciplinary complex at the Moscow Clinical Research Center “Hospital 52,” and other medical facilities.
In 2026, 150 billion rubles, including 16 billion rubles from investors, are planned for the development and strengthening of the material and technical infrastructure of healthcare facilities (construction, major and ongoing repairs, and equipment acquisition). These funds will support the reconstruction of inpatient facilities, women’s health centers, and other healthcare facilities.
Among the important facilities to be built in 2026–2028 are state-of-the-art medical complexes and hospitals of the future.
One of these is the new treatment and diagnostic complex of the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Care. The 10-story building will house the hospital’s key clinical and diagnostic departments, including surgical and therapeutic departments, intensive care, operating rooms, CT rooms, and much more. This will significantly improve the quality and comfort of medical care at Moscow’s most renowned emergency hospital.
A pediatric neurorehabilitation and orthopedics center will be built at the St. Vladimir Children’s City Clinical Hospital. The six-story building will house a consultative and diagnostic department, a hydrotherapy and rehabilitation department, and a 15-bed day hospital for children requiring long-term high-tech treatment.
A multidisciplinary complex of the Moscow Clinical Research Center “Hospital 52” will be completed between 2026 and 2028. The building will house nephrology, therapeutic, and surgical units, as well as a maternity hospital. As a result, the largest hospital in northwest Moscow will receive new, modern infrastructure for the effective treatment of patients.
In addition, a new treatment and diagnostic complex will be built for the V.P. Demikhov City Clinical Hospital. The construction of this new building will transform the institution into one of the leading multidisciplinary medical centers in the capital.
In the coming years, a multidisciplinary children’s complex will open in the capital on Alyabyev Street. A new children’s hospital in western Moscow will be among the best children’s inpatient facilities in Russia.
The next phase of the hospital is planned for Kommunarka, a modern perinatal center with a women’s health center at City Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after N.I. Pirogov, and a multidisciplinary building at City Clinical Hospital No. 67 named after L.A. Vorokhobov.
A modern flagship dispatch center will be created to manage the new emergency care system.
As a result, by 2030, a new framework for inpatient medical care will be completed, within which world-class multidisciplinary clinics will be created, equipped with the most modern operating rooms, medical and diagnostic equipment, and digital technologies—comfortable for patients and medical staff.
To improve the quality of inpatient care, we will continue to refine our patient care pathways for oncology, hematological, and nephrological diseases, ensuring timely detection, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Similar pathways will be implemented for other key medical care areas.
